Each morning toggle each blood type to Available, Low Stock, or Not Available. Takes under 2 minutes. Families searching BloodNG can then find you immediately.

Donors come to you automatically
When any type drops to Low or Not Available, BloodNG automatically sends a WhatsApp alert to registered donors in your area with that blood type.

Register using a lab-confirmed blood type
Scroll to the Donate Blood section. Enter your name, WhatsApp number, confirmed blood type, and area. Blood type must be from a lab test — not a guess.
Not sure of your blood type? Visit any hospital or lab for a blood group test. Takes 10 minutes, costs ₦500–₦2,000. Register after getting your confirmed result.

Receive a WhatsApp welcome message
After registering you get a WhatsApp message confirming your blood type and area. Save it as your donor reference.

Get alerted when your type is urgently needed
When a hospital near you runs low on your blood type you receive one WhatsApp message with the hospital name, address, and phone number.

Reply DONATED after giving blood
After each donation reply DONATED to the BloodNG WhatsApp. Your donation count increases and your badge upgrades automatically.

Pause or stop alerts any time
Reply PAUSE to stop temporarily. Reply STOP to unsubscribe permanently. You are always in control.
Is BloodNG free?
Yes — completely free for users, donors, and hospitals. BloodNG is a public service and will remain free forever.
Do I need an account to search for blood?
No. Just open bloodng.com and search. No sign-up, no login, no app download needed.
How do I know the information is accurate?
Hospitals update their availability daily. Every listing shows the last update time. Always call the hospital before travelling — stock can change between updates.
Can I donate blood if I am on medication?
Please consult your doctor. BloodNG does not provide medical advice. The hospital blood bank will assess your eligibility when you arrive.
What if the hospital says they have no blood when I call?
Stock changes quickly. Use the feedback form below to report it so we can flag the listing for review. Search for another hospital in the meantime.
Is my personal information safe?
Donor details are never publicly shown. Your information is stored securely and used only to send relevant alerts. We never sell or share your data. Reply STOP at any time to be removed.
What do Available, Low Stock, and Not Available mean?
Available means adequate stock. Low Stock means 1–3 units remaining and a donor alert is automatically sent. Not Available means no stock of that type currently.
